The ANIMATION CHALLENGE

Do you like making animations? Here's a video in which Terry Gillian tells you how to make funny ones (only that present day technology makes it much easier). So, if you have the time (and the nerve) watch the video and dare to make your own Monty Python style animations.

Enjoy your holiday and have a happy new year.

4th ESO - TOP TEN CITIES

Literary London map

Have a look at this link I got from the Lonely Planet website. There is an article about the 10 most attractive cities in the world (according to Lonely Planet's experts).

Read the descriptions and tell me which one you would visit and which one you would never visit. And say why.
For example, your comment can start like:

I would/wouldn't visit CITY because it ... or you can say I would/wouldn't visit CITY because there is/are..., etc.

IT'S A MATTER OF HUMANITY

Here's my (late) end-of-year post. I usually greet you and wish you a nice holiday, and so do I now. However, let me include a short video clip que is quite clarifying. Mind you, although for some it may be a matter of money, it is not a matter of politics, it is a matter of humanity.

And if you have 11 extra minutes, you can watch this clip on the History of the Middle East conflict in which the Israelian so called "generosity" throughout the last 50 years is explained. Here, you will see how such generosity has been cutting again and again the Palestinian territories.

4th ESO - Brain Games (i)

Here's a video I took from the National Geographic Channel programme called Brain Games. It tells you about activities you need to practise in life. Watch it and post a comment.

Your comment must include:
- Discuss an activity you can do well but you found it specially difficult at the beginning.
- Tell me your experience and how you managed to overcome difficulties.

Enjoy the video.

4th ESO - LOOK UP

Watch this nice video clip about inCOMMUNICATION and drop a comment.

This time you have to be a PASSAGE PERSON. So, you know, your task is to choose a passage of the text -a sentence or a paragraph- and then discuss it. Your comment must include:
1. The sentence or paragraph you chose.
2. Put it in context with the rest of the story.
3. Say why you like it.
If you want, you can also agree or disagree with your mates' opinions.

I hope you enjoy the video.
